A study on evaluation and influencing factors of carbon emission performance in China’s new energy vehicle enterprises

Vehicle industry has made great contribution to human progress. However, in the process of vehicle operation, a large number carbon compounds are emitted, which brings serious environmental problems. As one important means emission governance, development new energy vehicles (NEVs) attracted much attention. The behavior and performance NEV enterprises highly concerned. Using Chinese 23 enterprises’ data from 2011 2018, this paper evaluates with super-efficiency slacks-based measure (SE-SBM) model based on undesirable output then constructs STIRPAT analyze influencing factors performance. results indicate that, firstly, China’s is increasing year by year. Secondly, different enterprise distinct same year, Thirdly, technological innovation, government support, free cash flow have significant positive impact enterprises, while debt constraint, intensity, size negative enterprises.
